One of the most anticipated galas in the Mexican restaurateur sector was held on February the 22nd, 2021. The Great Restaurants in Mexico 2021 guide by Culinaria Mexicana recognizes the country’s greatest restaurants; it also mentions the incredible work of chefs, suppliers, experts, and personalities in the gastronomic field. Culinaria Mexicana (considered one of the most prestigious gastronomic portals in Mexico) awarded Sunset Monalisa restaurant in its sixth edition of the Mexico Gastronomic Guide, among other important restaurants.
“We are humbled about the news.” shares Jacob Ramos, executive chef of Grupo Monalisa. “All of us as a team strive every day to create unique experiences, and that is always the goal; that is why we are very grateful when that effort is recognized. “
The award ceremony was held virtually on this occasion where Culinaria Mexicana, with Pellegrino and Nespresso, mentioned 2021 year’s winners. The plaques were handed out to the greatest restaurants in the Mexican Republic in a symbolic way. The official plaques were sent to the restaurants and included a few gifts for the team and, of course, the official guide.
