New at Monalisa

A new chef team.
The same Monalisa.

Domenico Stile, chef of two-Michelin-star Enoteca La Torre in Rome, now leads our kitchen as Culinary Advisor, alongside Culinary Director Emanuele Olivero.

What they bring is the cooking of their Italian family: handmade pasta, honest flavors, a modern and casual Italian cuisine.

Order à la carte on the terrace as always, or let Domenico choose for you with the Chef Experience.

First seating, a romantic sunset over the bay.

Second seating, the live Cuban band plays.

The story of Sunset Monalisa Rosé

The name on the bottle is Sunset Monalisa. The grapes come from Guanajuato. Between those two places is a collaboration with Tres Raíces, the winery behind Sunset Monalisa Rosé.

The restaurant’s account of the collaboration begins with Giuseppe Napoli’s visit to Tres Raíces in 2022. The aim was to make wines specifically for Sunset Monalisa. The rosé gives that work a name and a bottle.

What went into the 2023 rosé

The competition record identifies the blend as 80% Grenache gris and 20% Caladoc, with 12.8% alcohol. It records a still wine made without wood ageing. Those details describe the 2023 vintage entered in the competition.

At the 2024 México Selection by Concours Mondial de Bruxelles, Tres Raíces Sunset Monalisa Rosé 2023 received a gold medal. The award belongs to that wine and vintage.
